(2) Install asymmetric override toggle switch at the cockpit pedestal and rewire aircraft for the new asymmetry switches and the override switch. (c) Upon request of an operator, an FAA maintenance inspector, subject to prior approval of the Chief, Engineering and Manufacturing Branch, FAA Eastern Region, may adjust the compliance time specified in this AD if the request contains substantiating data to justify the increase for such operator.
