A. Inspect, repair, and modify the wing leading edge slat anti-icing system in accordance with Avions Marcel Dassault-Brequet Aviation Service Bulletin F10/0239, dated September 14, 1983. B. Alternate means of compliance which provide an equivalent level of safety may be used when approved by the Manager, Seattle Aircraft Certification Office, FAA, Northwest Mountain Region. C. Special flight permits may be issued in accordance with FAR 21.197 and 21.199 to operate airplanes to a base for the accomplishment of inspections and/or modifications required by this AD. This supersedes Amendment 39-4423 (47 FR 32699, July 29, 1982), AD 82-16-01. This amendment becomes effective January 31, 1984. FOOTER:
