Unsafe Condition
In-flight propeller loss due to operation of PZL-3S engine with Dowty Rotol CR 289/3-110-F/1, F/11, or F/12 propellers.
AI-generated summary from the source AD text. Verify against the official source before acting.
Required Actions
Prohibit operation of PZL-3S engine with specified propellers. Inspect engines previously used with those propellers for wear on rear crankshaft, rear counterweight, rear counterweight pins, front crankshaft, crankshaft nut, and propeller shaft before further operation with other propellers. Compliance is required as indicated unless already accomplished. To preclude the possibility of in-flight propeller loss, accomplish the following: (a) Operation of any of the following engine propeller combinations is prohibited: (1) WSK "PZL-RZESZOW" PZL-3S engine with Dowty Rotol CR 289/3-110-F/1 propeller. (2) WSK "PZL-RZESZOW" PZL-3S engine with Dowty Rotol CR 289/3-110-F/11 propeller. (3) WSK "PZL-RZESZOW" PZL-3S engine with Dowty Rotol CR 289/3-110-F/12 propeller.
