With 5000 cycles or less in service prior to the accumulation of 5025 cycles in service replace the suspect serial number disc. (2) Upon submission of substantiating data by an owner or operator through an FAA Maintenance Inspector, the Chief, Engineering and Manufacturing Branch, FAA, Eastern Region, may adjust the compliance time. Amendment 39-1143 was effective January 14, 1971 and was effective as to all recipients of the telegram dated 10 December 1970 which contained this airworthiness directive.
