REGULATORY TEXT:   69-25-01 BOEING: Amdt. 39-882. Applies to Model 727, 727C and 727-200 series airplanes.
Compliance required within the next 2500 hours time in service after the effective date of this AD, unless already accomplished.
To prevent malfunction of the generator control circuit caused by induced electrical interference, accomplish the following or an equivalent modification procedure and parts installation approved by the Chief, Aircraft Engineering Division, FAA Western Region.
Within 2500 hours time in service after the effective date of this AD, unless already accomplished, modify the generator control panels in accordance with Section II, Boeing Service Bulletin No. 24-47, dated March 3, 1969, or later FAA approved revisions.
This amendment becomes effective January 3, 1970.
