(b) The placard required by paragraph (a) may be removed when the light is replaced by the Grimes G8400A-24 Anti-Collision Light in accordance with the "Procedure" outlined in de Havilland Modification No. 6/1116, dated October 26, 1967, or later revision or equivalent installation approved by the Chief, Engineering and Manufacturing Branch, FAA Eastern Region. (c) Upon request with substantiating data submitted through an FAA maintenance inspector, the compliance time specified in this AD may be increased by the Chief, Engineering and Manufacturing Branch, FAA Eastern Region.
