Unsafe Condition
Fatigue failures of the Belleville washer stack of the nose undercarriage up/down lock jack, specifically P/N AB44A39 (200 Series) and P/N AK44A39 (400 Series).
AI-generated summary from the source AD text. Verify against the official source before acting.
Required Actions
Remove Belleville washer stacks (P/N AB44B67 or AB44-1791 with BAC Modification PM2437 washers) from service based on landing counts: stacks with less than specified landings must be removed before reaching 2,500 or 8,000 landings, while those with higher landings must be removed within 200 additional landings. Landing counts may be calculated using fleet average time from takeoff to landing.

Compliance Time
Before the accumulation of specified landings (2,500 or 8,000) or within the next 200 landings, depending on the current landing count as of November 3, 1966.
